Ngapali Beach located on the Rakhine Coast near Thandwe (Sandoway). This
unspoilt beach is 35 minute flight from Yangon. By overland, it is 14 hour
drive along the narrow winding road over the rakhine Yoma (mountain range)
after crossing the Ayeyarwaddy rive at Pyay (Prome).
Chaung Tha Beach is located 40 km to the west of Pathein (Bassein) in
Ayeyarwaddy Division. It is a very convenient drive from Yangon via
Pathein taking about 5 hours. There are bungalow type hotels along the
beach with modern facilities.
Newe Saung Beach, it is a newly opened beach about 48 km from Pathein.
This unspoilt beach stretches 15 km of white sand and blue sea.
Kan Thaya Beach located 290 km from Yangon near Gwa on the Rakhine Coast,
Kan Thaya Beach is accessible by an 8 hour drive from Yangon over forested
mountain road.
