Extension Tour to Sittwe & Mrauk-U
( 5 Days / 4 Nights )
Day 1 Pick up at hotel and transfer to airport for flight to Sittwe,
capital of Rakhine State. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Afternoon
sightseeing in Sittwe. Stay overnight in Sittwe.
Day 2 Early morning transfer to jetty for boat to Mrauk-U (6
hours). On arrival, transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing in Mrauk-U
including Shittaung Pagoda, shirne of eighty thousand images. Overnight in
Mrauk-U.
Day 3 Full day sightseeing in Mrauk-U. Visit Dukkanthein Pagoda,
built in 1571; Laymyathna Pagoda, one of the original pagoda at the time
of the founding of Mrauk-U; Koethaung Pagoda, built with the intention of
paying tribute to the 84,000 future Buddhas; Andaw Pagoda, said t enshrine
the tooth relic, built in 1521. Stay overnight in Mruak-U.
Day 4 Early morning transfer to jetty for boat to Sittwe. Overnight
in Sittwe.
Day 5 Morning visit Sittwe Main Market and transfer to airport for
flight to Yangon. On arrival, transfer to hotel or connect international
flight.
